I would reset the TCU so it can adapt for the "new" fluid with a different coefficient of friction.

I lost bit of respect for hoovie after that bitching episode. Wizard made a mistake and did everything humanly possible to correct it plus stating he would take care of any potential later issues with the tranny. And then he threw in some considerable cost freebies for other repairs. What the hell else could he do?

Wow, I thought you were merely a hoot and fun to watch, but it takes a real stand up ethical guy to not only admit when he may have erred but apologize profusely as well. I always told my kids "friendship isn't whether you get in an argument or not, friendship is how you make up." Good job.

Yeah, other than additives, those are probably close and provide lube. Just like power steering and brake fluid are ver close to each other.
