I dig that /8 in the background, I’ve got 2 of them, they’re great. However it seems as though you have too much money & time on your hands.

These are cars, not buses or trucks. Yes they are big and heavy, but still not as big or heavy as a truck or even a van. So can someone please, please explain to me why these pathetic sons of whores manufacturers keep putting such gigantic engines in a small vehicle (car)? They put so big engines that there is no room for even a wrench to go in to unscrew a nut.

Not to mention the environmental damage from the pollution of such unnecessarily large engines.

What we see here is the beginning of the end of civilization. I’d say you want a bmw 2002, from a time when we thought we had a future.

Someone told me once, it is probably a lot easier to drop the whole engine and front subframe out the bottom when working on one of these. Anyone know if this is true???
I've got one of these M….. F…… Kers, and can honestly say it is the most unreliable car I have ever had.
Equally, when they are fixed, they are great, but that feeling will only last 5 minutes before next major bill comes in. Even the BMW techs don't understand them…. Way too complicated.
My next luxobarge is going to be a 70's Mercedes 450 SEL. I know, I know, The air suspension can be troublesome too but I will get one that has had new airbags already done 😁😁😁😁👍👍👍

BMW drivers do use indicators, but folks who bitch about them not just ain't paying attention. Go to Specsavers.
Top tip guys. Buy some nitrile gloves.

The Germans have gone from 'German engineering' meaning good quality and good design to overly complicated and expensive to fix.
