Lmfao that was some teaching nobody will forget! Haha
welp, this is the peak of masochism for me, casually watching a 15y/o learn on my dream car. 😰
Tbh hoovie seems nice but it would jus be awkward wit him, conversation wouldn’t flow because he just gets mad when he knows he’s messing his own car up by letting this kid drive it.
I learned to drive manual on a 1990 Dodge Daytona ES
It….it wasn't good
That wire hanging from the mirror has bothered me in every video of this car.
I was laughing so hard when I learned how to drive a stick shift. Also I got it right my first try!
That poor kid. I hope this was staged. He did good for his first time. And just for the record: clutches and gearboxes are TOUGH and designed to take abuse for years. He didn't break it.
Nonsense. How come Honda's finest is getting trashed like this.
being english ,its always funny watching americans struggle with a manual gearbox
ARGH!!! Everybody figuring out stick goes through the slams. But it isn't enough to just feather the clutch against "a little gas". There's a gradual move in both directions (clutch out, gas in) and it varies from car to car. Anyone driving stick does that. But the trick is /understanding/ what you're doing: examining and dissecting what's happening, then passing that on to the student. Some people learn by "lecture", some people learn by doing until the pieces fall together, and some people learn by example – what's the instructor doing with the feet, how's the motor sound. Demo, Hoovie, demo!!!
you need to tell him to ride the clutch to get it rolling then drop it hahaha
Wow all these stick shift professionals coming out from under a rock bombing the comment section lol 😂 😆
