Surprised that car ran as hard as it did
same thing happened to mine. Oil starvation on a turn. Next time- install the Porsche racing deep sump oil pan kit, it has baffles inside to prevent oil from gathering to the side.
Worst car I've ever owned – a Porsche 996. A month after buying her used (with a stack of Beverly Hills Porsche dealer invoices and a clean Carfax) the instrument panel lit up like a Christmas tree. $4500 of repairs and 34 days at the ABQ Porsche dealer didn't fix the problem, as the drive home from the shop the panel lit up again. I drove straight back to the dealer I bought her from and drove away in a different car. Never again..
