I love these old luxury cars. I have a 78 Lincoln Town Car Cartier Edition. It's mint with 60k original miles. I would take it over any of these newer sport (wanna be luxury) cars today. We have a newer Lincoln and BMW and they pale in comparison on ride.
So many truths being said in this video that people seem to have forgotten about today – thanks for this great and deep showcase!
Hopefully you don’t wreck it with a electric swap
People nowadays don't have a clue what it's like to ride in this type of comfort. For whatever reason the bigger the car the better they seem to ride and Cadilac did everything they could to make these cars float and they did. Guess that 9 miles to the gallon thing wouldn't but too practical today.
Here's a good one,Robert had one just like that ..he used 5 bottles of armour all on the interior…it looked good but you would slide off the seat wen he went around a corner….haaaa…..best part it caught fire in the steering column and when the fire hit the inside it made a powder flash from all the armor all …….haaaaa
Hoovie is head and shoulders above every other YouTube car enthusiast. He's got class and brains in spades. Soft, comfy suspensions and easy steering are the PINNACLE. Sporty = trash.
The wheel covers are supposed to be color-matched to the body color.
The trunk is mainly used as a counterbalance to the front wheel drivetrain.
I have always loved the big luxury American cars of the past. They were works of art and so stylish in the inside. 😍
My dream car to own in highschool was a 1975-1976 Chevy Monte Carlo
Lots of talk on steering feel, but no mention of the steering friction lever on the steering wheel hub.
I had one. I traded a rock island 1911 for and S10. Then I traded the S10 for the Eldorado. My brother and I we’re cruising around and he was giving me grief that I’d never be able to sell it and nobody wanted it. Well about 30 seconds later a guy flagged me down and said he HAD to have it.
I love these dinosaur goop drinking land yachts. All this electric wimpy car crap is just idiotic. If people realized how horrible electric cars are for the environment they think they are saving, their heads would spin.
Get some aluminum piston gap the piston rings get a efi system dyno tune it and get 600-750 hp torque easy
