Where I'm from, cheap used Ferrari's do not exist.

Tell me the truth Hoovie, should I get a 348? Haha. I've been really wanting to sell my 2010 Silver C6 ZR1 with 24,000 miles (tastefully and mildly modified for 670 whp) for a white or red Ferrrari 348. I love the ZR1 and the performance is uncanny. But I really want something slower paced, sounds great, looks great, and I can still take to the road course and have fun. The performance is of course a big difference, going from a 140 mph trap in the 1/4 mile to barely over 100 mph I bet. Still, something about the 348 just speaks to me in terms of driver enjoyment!

Until you are a mechanic. You will just make them money and you will spend money that they will save if they buy it from you. 😂

Great video as I was about to buy a 348. My question is would you still urge caution if a 348 was regularly serviced by Ferrari and had an impeccable service and parts record ? Thanks

Again, your singular experience does not represent at all the reality. Even just statistically this is false.

I would add that any real Ferrari owner doesn't servicing at Ferrari Dealers. There are many better options.

Buy a manual ferrari, it'll be more reliable…prob not.

A LOT of that huge amount of money for maintenance is likely due to mechanics' incompetence. After my 348's engine out service sometimes the starter motor wouldn't turn over. It was a major annoyance and I was willing to pay for a new starter, but my mechanic insisted on checking the parts until he found in the end (and several weeks later) it was the starter motor connector cable. $$$ saved.

You should be able to get to the belts from behind the seats by taking that cover off behind the seats. That way you don't have to take the engine out to change the belts, or so I think.

That service record amount sounds similar to the current total amount that I have spent on my ‘11 Grand Cherokee I’m thinking that I may have a larger running total than Tyler’s, LOL 😝. However, the insurance company will compensate you for that Ferrari after it went up in flames.

Does Hoovie’s theme music sound similar to MarioCart theme music.

Man I hope to own a terrible "old" Ferrari one day!
