Nice garage and everyone wants a delorean unless they are lying

    I’ll give you 25k for it 😜

Marty McFly looks like Kevin Bacon in that mural on the wall.

    That's a car hole.

You know why you love DeLorean so much because every single part of the car that's original is fused with Coke LOL they're addictive

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Rodney says:

Man hoovey you might could have put a used front-wheel drive LS platform in the back of it for that money almost then you'd have had a true supercar

The handling sucks because the suspension settings look like factory stock.

The rumor is that when the car was first designed, some of Delorean's US competitors pushed though a law that mandated a minimum ground clearance or something like that. Delorean didn't have the budget to redesign the car so they reportedly just put spacers in the suspension to raise the car up.

If you see a weird, unusually high gap between the top of the tires and the wheel arches, the car is probably at the factory ride height.

Savvy owners had their cars readjusted back to the original design specifications and that helps immensely.

I had a 1983 5-speed a while ago that had been returned to original spec. It handled great. At least until the rear wheels lost grip. Then the thing was a mess. The car was always a bit tail-heavy for its own good.

I own a McLaren MP4-12C and a 650LT, A Ferrari 308GTB and a Porsche 911 (1988 model) but of them all I prefer my old DeLoren which cost me GBP13.000 (about 11.000 USD) 5 years ago – its much more fun to drive and starts more conversations with strangers than the others

    This man is Andy Bernard😂

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Vince Dibona says:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's great, now LS-swap it already!

Or a Lumina Z34 engine/transmission would work OK, even.

    Junk don't bother

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars MD. Saunders says:

After all the work and money put into it you may as well keep it. It is a really awesome car even if they are junk. I would never get rid of it

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars ExpertXX9 says:

I saw this video that said why you should never buy a damaged DeLorean and try to fix it because its extremely expensive in the end

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars TheRoadsOf says:

24 k is cheap, at least in Europe. Nice one here costs 50 to 70k…. horrible.
