You do know there is a place in texas that bought all the parts the design and the tooling for the delorean no idea how much they would charge for a brand new gearbox I'd also watch wheeler dealers episode where Mike buys a delorean.
The stock US DMC was 130HP, stock EUR DMC was 160HP, a bit better, and it definitely made a difference, our emissions controls stole some HP.
As long as you do not need a left front fender, you’re good to go, I see a right one is about $1000, a left, $3000-$4000.

Worked on Delorean for a year or so.All the wndow and door complaints are common problems. Hard to believe they are worth so much! We never had a workshop manual, just service bulletins for things like injecting antifreeze into the throttle cable!!! when they freeze up.They are awful driving cars and slow to boot!
