After watching Bob, and learning they were only sold in or and Cali. I'm all in. 2013
No e brake turns?
Now, 3 years into the future, the asking price for these is 10k w/100k miles.
I want one of these so badly. The cars that people (mostly family) have told me to get didn't last or had multiple problems, vs the ones I did research on and gut feeling about that were so much fun to learn to work on, drive and were great cars overall. I am worried that my limited space will make it difficult for me to work on my own car.
I prefer working on my cars, that way I seem to be able to figure out any issues before they become problems, and I get to really understand how each make and model works.
Hi, I'm just about to buy this car and noticed that the automatic version sometimes rolling back or forward when u in gear (1st or R). And also you will feel the gear changing heavily when u in drive motion . Is this true
after mucking around cars for years, I found out that most drivers drive boring cars. They do not look like they are enjoying their driving. I am 69 and I enjoy every minute in my classics cannot wait to drive them every day. I recently have interest in the Abarth. We are lucky we can still get 2023 models in Australia. The competizone scorpioneoro rivale etc used and new. 185HP in the 695 comp brembos and monza exhaust standard. alot more than this 500 so should be great fun. But heard that the Abarth will disappear by this year and being replaced with the electric version! May not have the fun anymore ( No gear changes double declutching bang bang bang when you approach a bend and get out!!)
The fiat 500e is coming back in 2024
You should buy a Audi TT Mk2. Much better car than you think.
I've seen a few of cars totaled simply because parts weren't available.
Is it worth buying? I found a used one with 65k miles full stock and really clean. $10k obo. Feb 2023…
Back in the day, late sixtys, I worked for a designer who had accumulated some early sixtys Abarths. Seven hundred fifty cc. with a single Weber carb. About one forth smaller than what they are now, and a kick to drive. About the same time he bought a 1958 Ferrari 250 Tour de France, for around seven thousand dollars. Those were the days when most exotic european cars were just not on the radar.
Cheers
Do you still have this?
you are soo wrong.. jajajaja.. Daddy Doug said is his 2 best car drive experience ever.. Also, Abarth 500 started to be collectors cars..
You simply by this car for the fun of it, to enjoy it you don't worry about the cost of replacement parts labor, etc. There is a lot of aftermarket support and performance parts. This would make a good daily driver and 34 miles per gallon. I know people who own one of these and they also have a Ferrari and a 911 turbo and a luxury SUV and they love driving the hell out of their Fiat Abarth.
The 2013 Abarth is now going for 13+k used now. The popularity of these have skyrocketed in the last 2 years. Go online and try and buy one it’s crazy. Unfortunately they got popular after pulled from U.S market. During the era they came out U.S went back into bigger is better mode. Now gas is more expensive people appreciating smaller cars and euro design and now they are hot right now. I hope Fiat brings back more models in the U.S they still exist here but only in the 500X. I have a 2013 mint Abarth Cabrio with low miles and it’s insanely fun to drive. There isn’t anything close to the price point. You get this little taste of driving a euro super car in a small and affordable package.
Geez you have come a long way in a short time Hoovie😅
Not that bad.
