It's a miracle. Nobody was killed or seriously injured, especially inside of this ymca, but you all were able to help me with someone inside his name was chance. He had a toyota mr2 that he parked outside just before the tornado hit.

He parked it next to an s2000 thought. It was cool enough to turn around and take a picture and then well the tornado hit not long after that. It sent his car flying into the ymca itself through a couple of walls, landed upside down in the daycare, and it was stuck inside for about a month. They finally pulled it out and we're actually going to recover the vehicle today with chance and get up to the car wizards to see if we can get it running again.

But thankfully, thanks to you all being so generous in his gofundme, he has found another car. So we're going to go see that mr2 turbo as well, so let's go go check it out well, but before we explore what's left of the mr2 and get up to the car wizards to get it running again. Hmm. Does it go into gear yeah? Oh yeah, that's still very smooth buttery like an mr2 supposed to be then the engine. I guess that's where the wall was or whatever it hit. Huh uh.

You can see the valve cover's, cracked yeah, it sure is, and the engine looks like it's off its mount whoa. Well, this might be a tall order for the car wizard. I think he'll buff out it'll buff out. Well, that was the odometer.

Wasn't it so above it would have been because this is just the trip down here. That's smasher oni. You got some bits. You got the shift boot and uh need that for your other car, oh yeah, oh, hey, signature, pop-up headlights, that's that's uh! Not really doing the job anymore, there we go ac condenser.

I think it's a goner. I can try and straighten it out. For you, though, yeah good as new there you go. Does your ac work in the new car uh? It blows not cold, though.

Let me sorry, that's probably what you need right here you can see. This is the side that was facing the tornado before it got picked up just pelleted by debris like little bbs, all down the side of this thing, and then it was picked up and thrown into there, which too bad. It's going to take a long time to rebuild what did it sound like the tornado yeah. It was just loud like just wind, like passing a semi on the highway or a train passing by you.

I have a video of uh me and i didn't realize my car was in the background. You can see it be positive, yeah. Well, there actually there's pieces of of the building in here. Look at this there's wet wipes in here too.

There's because it crashed into the daycare right yeah, it took out the wall of the daycare and that's maxwell's wipes from the daycare jeez. I guess that's where the doll came from. This is just insane all right. You got some preliminary bits gathered up there for your car.

Oh yeah and dennis is here first name basis for the tow truck driver. That's just the life i live. You were driving toyota's, so you didn't need a tow truck. Ever i took a f3 tornado dennis hello yeah.

Oh, he can get it running. Ain't no question about it. He'll get it running, but is it worth to get it running? Oh sure, it is.

Oh, it's a convertible. No, it was. It was a t-top. It became a convertible when it smashed through that building had the four bolts that hold the top in yeah exactly turbo cars too.

This wasn't a turbo. No, he bought a turbo, though replace it. So we're actually going to go from here to go. Look at his new purchase that uh thanks everybody watching they were able to crowdfund a new car for him.

I like hearing that yeah and then i'll catch up with this thing up at the car. Wizards he's probably going to be really excited to see it when it gets up there. This is really nice, oh yeah, so we saw it on facebook in nebraska right, oh yeah. We saw this one and this one is a turbo. Yours wasn't a turbo car huh. Well, it looks really clean.

It was only a 138 000 original miles wow and the one you had was a little over 200 000 right yeah. It's pretty high mileage cars, but it's the exact same seats, original seats too yeah to my knowledge, everything's uh original in here. Well, i think you've done pretty good. Can you take me for a little spin yeah? Does the turbo make a big difference, huge difference, hey that pulls nice wow? That is impressive.

So it sounds like it has a it's a really weird exhaust leak, but otherwise yeah really really good. You really hear it like low rpm we're just going, but after we get rolling a bit, it kind of just goes away nice. So we're gon na see, what's up with that, try to fix that yeah. So a few little lots and ends, but overall a really solid car, and now you have a parts car, oh yeah, we'll see if i can get it running yeah without the community and your help this wouldn't have been possible.

I was probably just going to go: get like a volkswagen jetta gdi from my friend, but well jet is not a bad car, but an mr2 mrt way better. Oh yeah way better. It's just seeing people come together to help a total stranger out, a kid they don't even know. Well, not even a kid i'd say a young adult now, but just someone they don't even know which my family i'm super, grateful for and it's a blessing.

I got from andover for you i'll, try, okay for you! Well, it was picked up by a tornado thrown through a couple of walls. They were cinderblock ymca walls, so this is the ymca is an mr2 that went through a couple of walls and uh. Well, we tried the key earlier turned it. It doesn't do anything like it has a dead battery.

So i don't know if it's just that or you know maybe a few other things, i'm not sure you know it's a little structurally compromised right uh. I think it's structurally non-existent anymore other than it's there, but it's there's nothing. You can do with this yeah. Well, you know if you can get it to run and drive again.

We could probably cut this windshield off. You know the frame and you know be a permanent convertible and be a car. I don't know i guess. Well, i guess what we could do is i'll get the hood open or whatever you call this and put a battery in it yeah.

Let me pop the hood for you here there you go should be popped. Yeah, nice, okay, you throw a battery in there, yep i'll go, get this one out and i'll go grab a new one. Oh it's a dirty used diaper! Well, i i doubt it's probably a clean diaper that just got wet uh, it's yellow! It is see the yellow coloring on it. Oh, okay, well, yeah, okay, well, here's the ymca! That is the interior wall.

Those were the little cubbies. I think inside of the daycare. Tell me if there's any smoke or anything, i don't want it to catch on fire. No, no! No.

What was that? What was that is that the horn, it's screaming in agony. Oh, please stop! So that's what the horn sounds like huh, wow, okay, some kind of alarm system, maybe either that or the horns constantly push on all right. So we have some electrical power. I guess yeah.

Let's turn the key. Oh, my god, it came alive. You are kidding me headlights. Do we have a light? Well, no they're, all busted, no okay! Okay, let me just make sure it's out of gear here turn it over.

This is awkward whoa, all right. Okay, the clutch is in. We need to get this hatch popped open, so we can see what's going on in there, okay yeah, because it sounds like the motor's locked up. Oh hey, that did it yeah there we go.

I don't think it's supposed to be tilted over that far huh intake's cracked, open wow yeah it sat upside down for about a month, there's more pieces of building in there huh yeah. I wonder if water got inside the engine it probably did through here. Maybe we pull a plug out and see if it shoots water out like the previa yeah, let's try it how's it look like watery liquid. Oh okay, like oil, maybe it's hydro, locked, never pull them all out.

Okay, all right! So all the plugs are out. I can get this one out careful on the body work there, i've yogurted myself into this thing, turning the ignition and okay. Well, that was just oil in there. It went all the way out here.

I'm holy moly, i'm kind of jealous all right. So i guess we can clean the spark plugs, put them back in and see. What happens. I don't know is the fuel line even hooked up man.

I need a stiff drink after that. One all right spark plugs back in. Let's see what it does and clear. Prop seems a little uneven, but it's turning over happy all right.

Now you have a different spray right, this one's to start a fire, this one's, to put it out very good all right. This is its last chance. Last chance, nice little handy hole for the intake. There, let's give it another shot, it started.

It actually came to life more more, more, keep it going, keep it running. Yeah purring, like a kitten. It's knocking! Oh jeez! No more! You got a little car on your forehead there in the backfire huh fire extinguisher in a can, and it worked perfectly yeah get these at home depot or low well. It definitely has something going on the bottom end, where it's knocking and messed up, but oh yeah.

This thing's ruined it started. It started holy crap. It actually started yeah. That's very impressive that this thing started after what it had been through, obviously completely ruined, but man toyotas.

They are hard to kill. That's why i tell people buy a toyota. They survive what it was an f4 tornado. F3.
