Now in 2023 NA Miata aren't bargain anymore. Clean untouched ones are well over 10K. Some going to 15k+ for all original one. Buy them while you still can.

How did these cars go from jokes about being a gay car to ultimate track car/totally acceptable. It happened over the last 10 years. That stereotype totally disappeared.

I'm sure somewhere in the last two years someone made this comment, but I can't help myself.

I purchased a 94, in January of 2020. Definitely more of a hooptie than yours though! I had to replace the passenger front fender, the aftermarket stereo was questionable, and the shocks were trash. But the car was only 2800 bucks. It's a 5spd with 115k. I replaced the shocks, got a new fender painted, replaced the stereo and the speakers in the headrests. I did the timing belt, cam seals, crank seal, water pump, maintenance. I did all the work myself, minus painting the fender. (Thanks to YouTube) If I wanted to sell it, (which I don't) considering how the prices have skyrocketed here in Florida, I could probably get 5 – 6k for it.

Its worth more now lol one of the best handling cars ever made. You have to drive it like you stole it, I couldn't agree more.
