Never realized bmw cars were so bad
I still want it, reliable or not
Am I the only one that thinks that this car looks ugly? It just looks like a bloated worse version of its predecessor. It has Lexus ES wheels, cheap looking side vents, and otherwise forgettable styling. I really don't see the appeal here. Sure it looks better than most modern cars, but that isn't saying much. To each their own.
But this car still looks amazing
who makes that coat bro
Now listed on Cars & Bids. This'll be interesting…
You're cheating on the Car Ninja now? Huh.
The music at the start of the video sounds like another version of The Final Countdown made by Europe
BMW parts are not all expensive, and for anything except sensors I'd recommend using European third party brands like Meyle, Hella, or VDO. Only sensors and things related to the ECU I'd keep as stock as possible, thats at least what I do with my E46 and the general opinion in all E46 groups is this is the way to go.
"any old European car is going to be this bad" What sort of uneducated statement is this?
His channel is based on entertaining us with his bad decisions? Whats the point of talking shit about european cars in general just because his car sucks?
You'd like my 1 owner 88 e28 M5 Hoovie!🕵😍
Any sane person would trade ANY BMW for ANY Honda
just saying but Clarkson managed to break one of these in 10min during his drive test,
as every new bmw, it's a glorified piece of junk where more time was spend on programmed obsolescence than quality.
Expensive pile of junk!😝
Thank you for lowering the price of this car. It's actually not hard to work on compared to 2019+ cars lmao. I can pick these up for $11k with well under 100k miles in good condition all day now.
The transmission is just a manual with some solenoids… instead of your foot activating the clutch its a 2 wire solenoid same with the gears and there's a simple hydraulic pump, and then some position sensors so the computer knows where everything is. There's literally nothing complicated about this, a 2001 automatic transmission corolla is a more complicated transmission.
Doug is laughing it up
