Since this has been posted I've seen several videos that list problems with the engine that while causing overheating are not head gasket but much cheaper to fix if your mechanic is competent and doesn't just assume it's a head gasket problem. You can get a test that works on any car that will tell if you have a blown head gasket. Also I would say that the 3.6 & 3.0 engines GM put in the newer Cadillacs have their own problems.

This was one of my most reliable cars I miss the crotch vent and it rode so smooth on the freeway almost made you sleepy half the time super soft comfortable seats and heated steering wheel this car was amazing for it’s time and design, check my videos for this same car
