Audis are better than they used to be, but they don't hold up as well as an equivalent Lexus.
What i dont understand is, i searched for an a6 a while ago and i have seen a lot of those a6 c5 allroads for sale and almost all off them had more then 300'000 km
Rather buy a old wagon way cooler

This is a complex 3-functional (a real sportscar, family estate, and the only passenger car that accomplish Land Rover on their factory death track to date) Top level, very durable technic, logically with above the average maintenance need than a Toyota Corolla. SO: not for the noob mechs.
good thing i totally didnt just buy a 2004 audi allroad 2.7t for 4k and fix it and tune it……couldnt be me….
I’ve got 180.000 kilometers on my German version of the allroad and except for some repairs with the air suspensions everything works fantastic
I own an 07 Audi Quattro A6v8 Allroad estate wagon,,It does not have any of these issues,
I have owned four of these cars, and four because I moved continents several times and had to let them go. They are a delight, solid. One needed the suspension changed. But, my experience is that inexperienced mechanics can cause major problems, which are then resolved when the cars return to experienced trained repair folk. My worst car was a Jeep.
Cant understand that judgement, would say very reliable, this is just taken from the air.

I have a 2005 Allroad 2.7t 6 speed, full stage 3 car, K04s, bigger injectors all the other fun stuff including BC coilovers to replace the junk Air ride system. They are amazing cars and with a little knowledge really not that hard to work on and do maintenance items. Early audi Tiptronic transmissions are known to be the weak link. The 6 speed 01E is a super stout trans with virtually no issues. Calling these the most unreliable car is an extreme over exaggeration, l they obviously dont come without their common problems but they make fantastic fun daily drivers or weekend cars!
So funny how I bought my 2004 Audi Allroad Quattro off the lot and it still runs great today, almost 20 years old 😅
My 2.7t Manuel has 360.000 km with his first engine and the second air suspension. These cars are Bomb proof in my opinion
I wonder what happend with this audi engine hood? Right now it looks fine but when tavarish bough it there was primer everywhere 😂 in fact audi hood is made from aluminium 🤔
